Help students in BME 3240 (Biotransport) engage grand challenges that may face biomedical engineers in their careers through designing mathematical and experimental approaches for predicting, measuring, and interpreting transport phenomena quantitatively. Roles include supporting students through in class problem solving, office hours, and grading.
Developed venture capital analysis skills through participating in a one year program in evaluating seed-stage companies through classroom settings and hands on learning. Worked alongside partners to analyze early stage companies.
Worked with graduate students to correlate ultrasound data with mechanical stresses on Achilles tendons using digital image correlation and presented this research in a poster presentation at the 2017 BMES Annual Meeting. Wrote an algorithm to smooth voxel elements for a finite element model of the brain and skull using MATLAB.
