Commencing as a Consultant in 2010, and promoted to Senior Consultant in 2012, responsibilities include: - Contributing to business development activities and revenue growth through engagement with senior Australian and international procurement leaders - Managing direct reports and leading project teams, with responsibilities involving budget and delivery management, resourcing, performance appraisal and personnel development - Thought leadership in procurement issues, processes and initiatives for the Australian market - Leading and delivering projects within greenfield and established procurement functions, in strategy development, spend analysis, organisational structure, category strategies, contract management and risk management Key project achievements: - Developing the risk management framework, approach and tools for a state-owned oil and gas producer located in the Middle East - Leading multiple Category Management transformations, including for the Australian procurement operation of a Fortune 500 metals manufacturing organisation as well as for an ASX top 20 energy company - Performing a Procurement Excellence advisory role for an Australian oil and gas provider, incorporating contract compliance, contract management systems utilisation, team strategy development and communications enhancement across 130+ procurement personnel - Developing and delivering Category Management tools and materials and providing team coaching for procurement teams and business stakeholders, including Engineering, Logistics and Finance, for resources firms across Australia, Asia, Africa and North and South America.

Responsible for managing several direct and indirect categories, from strategy development through to sourcing and supplier and contract management. Categories included: - Packaging materials (plastics, fibre, flexibles) - Commodity ingredients (coffee, cocoa, sugar) - Specialist ingredients (fruit preparations) - Facilities management (fire safety, pest control) Delivered year-on-year direct cost savings and achieve cost avoidance targets. Implemented efficiency measures through demand management initiatives and B2B systems deployment. Built trust and strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across all business units. Worked collaboratively with suppliers across Asia Pacific, including in China and South-East Asia.
