Appliances Recycling is the approved organization for developing, coordinating and controlling the recycling system of electric and electronic waste (WEEE) in Greece. Alexandra was in close cooperation with the company's core team to attain the corporate goal of the WEEE lamps and luminaires recycling growth in the country. Achievements during the a.m. 5 years: - all the stages of the WEEE lamps management have been designed, organized and coordinated, meaning collection, transport, temporary storage and processing. - more than 80% of the lighting products sold in the Greek market were declared and integrated to the recycling system. - about 600 WEEE lighting products collection points were created. - in 2010 the collection of 64 tonnes of WEEE lamps and 126 tonnes of WEEE luminaires was achieved.
