• Assists the Chair of the Clinical Cancer Research and the Scientific Grant Review Committee to assess grant applications, perform due diligence and formulate recommendations • Develops content and manages Board and Grant Review Committee meetings (three times a year) • Maintains a process of open communication with grantees and strategic partners, and creates linkages that adds value to the field • Communicates with contract offices of grantee institutions to ensure timely completion and execution of agreements • Monitors the progress of current and past research grants, including the allocation of money spent to-date, progress of project, adherence to milestones and impact • Ensures successful grant outcomes through risk identification, mitigation and management to increase impact of individual grants and grant portfolios • Maintain a system for program evaluation, and continuously track important data for accountability, learnings and improvement • Drives the strategy development, implementation and management in partnership with other staff, the Scientific Review Committee and the Advisory Board to ensure adherence with the Foundations’ mission
