UTC Climate, Controls & Security is among the world’s leading provider of building technologies. After demonstrating exceptional managerial skills since joining the organization back in 2013, I was asked in Nov 2016 to form the supply chain department and to lead the team. This resulted in merging of purchasing, procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and facilities teams under one leadership. Head of the dairy supply chain with main supply points in Holland & KSA and a network of distributors across the GCC region. Annual turnover exceeding US$267M. Managed the running of the factory and introduced new operations that involved initial feasibility studies, business partner and international supplier selection, negotiations, sourcing, training of team, local vendors selection, installation, testing/commissioning, and commercial production run. Key achievements: • Set up a US$2M GRP poles facility in partnership with Top Glass s.p.a. (Italy) • Installed a US$1M wire harness operation in association with Komax (Switzerland) and Tyco Electronics (USA) • Transferred lighting fixtures technology from ECLATEC in Maxeville, France to Jeddah, KSA • Conducted sales and marketing activities introducing new range of product to clientele • Prepared technical assistance, shareholders, & trademark agreements to establish JVs & business partnerships • Optimized the production output, materials flow and processes at Jeddah factory by 60% • Introduced supply chain reporting and customer service procedures
