- Ensure that the business has effective systems, procedures and controls for AML and KYC compliance - New Business development, stragetic planning and implementation - Financial management, budgeting and forecasting - Risk management processes, ensuring that the regulatory risks are appropriately identified and assessed - Client and Regulatory Supervisor relationship management - Developing and driving KYC risk-focused initiatives that will meet risk and regulatory requirements - Communicating risk themes to stakeholders and senior management through ad hoc communication and management meetings - Development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures that support internal training - Keeping internal documentation up-to-date and make recommendations for enhancements of our internal processes and tools - Monitor changes in compliance within New Zealand and the wider international context - Interpreting client information relating customer source of wealth, source of funds, activity, structure and all other relevant information included in the files order to identify instances requiring escalation or needing further investigation/due diligence - Operations management with oversight of product development, market diversification and pricing strategy - Constantly reducing the complexity and judgement of compliance tasks into product requirements so that technology and product can build scalable solutions
