Key Achievements: • Delivered Savings (Actual) of £9.7m against expenditure of £42m, a 23% (Savings v Expenditure %), over 213 Sourcing Activities / Projects; • Reduced Supplier Expenditure from £64m (May 16) to £32m (Dec 17), 50% reduction; • Tendered £19.8m exp. (55 projects), achieved £4.6m savings (23% savings v exp.) Projects included: A14 Pipeline Diversion, API 570 Inspection, Cathodic Protection, Civils, Containment, Demolition, Drainage, Epoxy Sleeve’s, Excavation, Fuel Filters, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Land Agency Service’s, Line Clearance, Pig Trapping, Pipeline Inspection, Road Crossings, Roadworks, Steel, Switch room Construction, Tanks – Construction of New Tank, Cleaning, Surface Preparation, Lining, Inspection, Pumps – New, Repair and Overhaul (existing), Rooms and Valves; • Contracts and Policy: Introduced NEC III (Part A&B) and reviewed and implemented Consultancy, Engineering and Manufacturing, Goods and Services Small / Minor Works Contracts, NDA, new Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Liaised with Legal to introduce EPC, EPCM, Modular Contracts and Service Agreements with KPI’s. Introduced Strategic Sourcing, SRM, New Procurement Policy and Procedures, Category Management, as well as re-engineering the PO process. Implemented Achilles UVDB (Annual Supplier Due Diligence), Bravo ERP Sourcing (In-Progress) and produced a 5-Year Strategic Plan (2016 – 2021).
