In October 2023, FIVE Holdings acquired the legendary Spanish nightlife brand, The Pacha Group, in a deal valued at €303 million, naming Batra as CEO. This acquisition includes a range of assets from the Pacha Ibiza nightclub, Destino Five Ibiza, Pacha Hotel, Toy Room, The Pacha Collection, and WooMoon (Globally), expanding FIVE’s global footprint in hospitality and entertainment. Following a complete redesign, Destino Five Ibiza reopened in June 2025 as a five-star resort with a renewed energy — blending glamour, music, and hedonism like never before. From 159 chic rooms and suites, serene breakfasts at its homegrown dining concept Elia, to sun-soaked moments at Playa Pacha, every moment reflects the free-spirited soul of the island. Entertainment is elevated with a spectacular open-air stage hosting some of the world’s most celebrated artists. Pacha ICONS, a travelling music series currently alternating between Dubai and Ibiza to maximise seasonal resonance, brought Ibiza’s iconic party culture to new audiences, delivering record-breaking commercial performance and top-tier artist line-ups. Batra is the Tour de Force behind FIVE’s commercial success and brand value. He is the visionary behind homegrown concepts, including The Penthouse Dubai, voted DJ Mag’s #1 Nightclub in the Middle East 2023-2025, Cinque, recognised by MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2024-2025, Gambero Rosso 2023-2024, and Gault&Millau 2023 – 2025, and Dubai’s most awarded pub – Goose Island Tap House. Ronin was awarded “Opening of the Year” and earned a coveted spot in the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025, and is recognised by Gault&Millau 2025. As Managing Director of FIVE Holdings, Batra was responsible for identifying and executing lucrative and promising investment opportunities, and spearheading Product Development, Sales and Marketing at the group level. His business acumen and marketing expertise saw FIVE Palm Jumeirah and FIVE Jumeirah Village selling out within two months of their sales launches, generating combined sales of more than USD 925 million. He was also the brainchild behind FIVE’s innovative investor model, which enables buyers to purchase hotel rooms in both properties before leasing them back to the operator. In addition to overseeing the rebranding of SKAI Holdings to FIVE Holdings, he played a key role in delivering the completion of FIVE Palm Jumeirah ahead of schedule. This generated revenues that repaid a USD 300 million syndicated finance package 13 months ahead of schedule.
