Planned and designed HP UNIX and Sybase ASE 12.5 server migration to Sun Solaris and Sybase ASE 15.0 server. Detailed planning and technical design saved 20 days of time. Suggested use of memory cache saved 5TB of physical disk space of production server. Managed this activity with minimal business impact. Automated month-end activity comprised processing of huge data and generations of report. Recommended to build a small application that would allow financial users to generate reports on their side for reconciliation. Together, automation and the application that was built for end users brought down month-end processing to 5days from 12 days.
Designed and implemented Risk Mitigation Group (RMG) module for Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) for its Derivative segment. Successfully implemented multiple business functions into existing DTSS (Derivative Trading & Settlement System) application.
