I lead international collaboration regarding MSDI between stakeholders such as hydrographic offices, customers and businesses. I recognised that the group was heavily data focussed and would benefit from increased understanding of published MSDI frameworks, I made use of expertise from UKHO by organising a presentation to enable the group to understand the wider aspects of MSDI. The group workplan now reflects the change in approach to focus on the wider aspects of MSDI. I shared my knowledge and experience of this forum with the UKHO chair of a newly established regional MSDI working group to maintain consistency in the international MSDI space.
