As a researcher I was part of the research line ‘Post-Emergency Community Resilience’ led by Dr. Carmen Mendoza Arroyo which enhances a transdisciplinary approach to post-disaster/conflict situations at an urban scale. It specifically addressed: i) inclusive urban refugee integration; ii) comprehensive reconstruction and upgrading; and iii) community resilience for sustainable urbanization. My tasks was developed in two research projects: • Urban integration of displaced populations in Barcelona and the design of reception centers • Evaluation of the life cycle and panels of an existing emergency construction system I was involved in research grant writing in these two topics as well as helping develop both projects. + Drawing skills (autocad).
