Joined Louisville Distilling to set up Finance and Accounting departments in anticipation of eventual sale of brand to Bacardi. Stayed on with Bacardi for another two years and grew the finance team, assimilated the brand to Bacardi’s reporting structure, monitored and planned the cash outlay for construction of new distillery and visitor center, and performed “junior CFO” duties for 3 years.
This position was the culmination of a 14 year public accounting career filled with intense training from the brightest CPA minds in our region. I managed a handful of staff and over 180 clients when I departed to join the beverage industry.
