Sourcing field: • Search and develop new local and oversea capacity suppliers that can meet company’s requirement of pricing, capacity, quality and lead time • Sourcing and develop very special material such as faux vellum replaced to real goat skin that only supplied to Phuc Thang in Vietnam market • Assess KPI of vendors in working process with them and after visiting their factory and workshop • Review all key suppliers to see whether they are reasonable and reliable and competitive suppliers • Often update pricelist of vendors and compare with the existing price • Sourcing new subcontractors that can produce wooden furnitures, metal furniture, wooden parts and upholstery and hyacinth and so on • Sourcing indirect and direct raw material for furniture such as timber, veneer, hardware and components and paint and so on from local and oversea • To manage sourcing activity of raw materials and import the goods from different markets such as China, Thailand, USA, Hong Kong, Turkey, Italy, Philippine, Pakistan… • Saving at least 50,000 USD per year in dealing price and find very good suppliers in pricing and quality. Procurement field: • To set up and restructure Purchasing department for the company at the beginning of joining the company to handle and manage all tasks relative to sourcing and procurement field • Manage all procurement activities from maintenance, hardware, glass, components, finsihing material, packing material, wood, veneer, marble, stone… to indirect and direct materials in furniture manufacturing • For big company as PTC that many raising matters that I gave solution to BOM to solve problems • Visiting suppliers three times per week to see status of making products of hardware, glass, marble for PTC and also survey new suppliers. • Controlling the buying pricing in procurement activities • ...................
