As the 1st employee of World View, I helped the company grow to 100+ employees through four venture funding rounds. I wore multiple hats, serving as the Head of Marketing and Space Tourism Sales and Business Development. In addition, I assisted World View's Co-founder and CEO in fundraising and corporate strategy and early-stage finance and planning. I also had the honor to lead Strategic Communications following the historic StratEx Space Dive with Google Exec Alan Eustace (which broke the world record for the highest human balloon flight and skydive of all time, clocking in at 135,889 ft.)
Led private sector business development and go-to-market for World View's Stratollite™ high-altitude remote sensing platform.
Led corporate, product, and campaign planning and strategy for a core vertical market. Responsibilities included new product commercialization, market research, competitive analysis, campaign development, and leading data-driven strategic marketing tactics with the help of a direct sales team. I also assisted the Danaher Water Quality Group strategic planning and M&A team in a variety of analyst functions.
Served as a two-year elected Student Government Association President during my tenure at Washington College. Led the vision, direction and management of a 60+ member Student Government organization as head of the Executive Branch, driving action through the executive management of a 12 member executive board, in response to student sentiment on topics encompassing all aspects of student life.
Developed and executed a voice-of-the-customer study to identify and define new segmentation profiles based on the prioritization of customer needs and developed "how we win" rationale for each market segment. Additional projects included market sizing exercises and competitive analysis.
