As the founder of TQS Food Consulting, I have over 40 years’ experience that has been gained across a range of product categories including: Fresh, Cooked & Processed Meat Products, Continental Meats, Sausage, Dairy, Pizza, Pasta, Ready Meals, Delicatessen, Bakery, Fruit Juice, Chocolate, Ambient Stable Grocery and Wines & Spirits. Product experience covers all levels of the supply chain, from animal welfare & slaughter, raw materials, production, manufacture and importing through to UK retailers. Having travelled globally over the past 20 years in a professional capacity, I appreciate many of the ‘cultural attitudes’ that often prevail to food safety and quality in countries outside the UK. Passionate about Food Safety and Hygiene, I’m a Fellow of The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) and am also involved with food safety related committees and working groups in the UK.
