Mantrac Group is one of world’s largest multinational Caterpillar dealer headquartered in Slough, United Kingdom, distributing and supporting Caterpillar (CAT) equipment in 11 countries spread over three continents. Leading Logistics department in Russia (5 direct subordinates, 40 employees indirect): -> International and Domestic Transportation management: • ensure the effective deliveries of Caterpillar Construction and Mining machines, Power Systems and Spare Parts through the different transportation methods: Sea Freight, Air Freight, Rail Freight and Truck Freight; • ensure that freight/transport providers are strictly observing and meeting the contract provisions and set guidelines on inbound and outbound transportation; -> Importation and Exportation: • manage the customs clearance process, oversees the importation and exportation activities of customs brokerage, certification agencies and forwarding companies; • ensure that the service providers are strictly observing contract provision and importation/exportation guidelines, compliant to code of business conduct and ethics, and legal requirements; -> Warehouses management: • 17 regional warehouses (own and 3PL) in Russia; • ensure warehouses effective utilization and safety standards are established and met at all the warehouses; -> Freight purchasing and strategic sourcing: • lead tender process and bids; • introduction of new service providers and SLAs set up; -> Order fulfillment and Inventory management; -> Performance management; -> Project management; -> Training and development of staff; -> Continuous improvement of the logistics network. Achievements: • Reduction of the logistics cost base by 25%; • Significant delivery lead times improvement; • Warehouse management and Transport management systems successful implementation; • Set up a warehouse and distribution center for spare parts in Surgut;
