The first day included 5 different seminars on business operations, networking, marketing, supply chain management, consultive selling, competitor analysis from different firms like Google, Endeavor, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Proctor & Gamble and GlaxoSmithKline. The second day comprised of working on the task handed out by the Bright Network. The task was to create a marketing plan for Enterprise Rent-A-Car to recommend best expansion opportunity and marketing strategy to be implemented. This was completed as a presentation on the third day of the Internship where we worked with our peers to network and review the work.
Completed a three-day Consulting internship by Bright Network UK. The first day consisted of networking segments, seminars, and skills development sessions with firms like Bain & Company, Alpha Financial Markets Consulting, PWC, ELIXIRR, Accenture, CapitalOne. During the second day, a work task was handed out by the Bright Network to create a consulting presentation that analyzed what type of customer loyalty program would be the most impactful in increasing the sales and customer retention of a Chocolate company based in the UK. The presentation gave a review of the project summary, high-level market summary, the proposed customer loyalty program and its implementation plan. The third day of the internship was spent by peer-reviewing our work and networking.
Olam International is a leading agri-business company operating in 70 different countries, supplying food and industrial raw materials. The main task given was to conduct stakeholder consultations and mapping of multiple priority products (cotton, cashew, hazelnuts, palm, rubber, cocoa, coffee, and special vegetables and ingredients) of Olam to understand the existing processes used to implement their Supplier Code amongst business units and smallholder farmers. Conducted thorough qualitative and quantitative research to understand this process and on technological developments in order to understand and conclude which technological innovation will eradicate the manual labour spent on implementing the Supplier Code. Developed training on their Supplier Code in order to highlight the importance and educate the business units and procurement heads of Olam.
