I was responsible for bringing in new business opportunities in Scandinavia and participating in large tender processes worth tens of millions of euros. ▶︎ Conducted preliminary review of the client terms and conditions and requirements of tenders in Finland. ▶︎ Clarified the tender terms and conditions, participated in technical dialogues, evaluated tenders. requirements and contributed to the submission of tenders, bids, offers and proposals to international clients, as well as face to face presentations and negotiations of tenders. ▶︎ Engaged Stakeholders and Partners for cost and price calculations. ▶︎ Ensured tenders documents meet the technical translation and technical terminology requirements.
During a time of financial crisis, I was able to find several projects as a freelancer business development consultant in Athens, Greece. ▶︎Taiga Imports, Interim Project Manager ( contract), 2011 – 2013 a food exporting company -> Advised business owners on the go-to-market strategy, evaluated business opportunities and created a business development plan. -> Evaluated the pricing, logistics and distribution strategy for EU and Russia and opened new sales opportunities in Finland. ▶︎ Fortis Venustas Ltd, Interim Business Development Manager (part-time), 2012 – 2013, an export company of licensed and own label cosmetics products and toiletries -> Helped in Business Opportunities Development and initiated a new business idea, which led to an official licensing agreement with the company and Fifty Shades of Grey Brand (Fifty Shades of Grey toiletries produced now exclusively by Fortis Venustas). ▶︎ Lalizas, Interim Key Account Manager, 2013 a company manufacturing marine equipment with a commercial presence in 130 countries. The company holds a leading position in the European Marine Equipment markets. -> Acquired new clients in the South-East, Europe, Malta, Canada, Indonesia, Asia, maintained and handed them over as an interim Account Manager for the leading marine equipment manufacturing company in Europe during four months project.
I was leading the marketing, sales development and communication for the corporation's five hotels with an allocated budget. Palace Kämp Group is currently part of the Nordic Choice Hospitality Group. My goal was to acquire new sales within the Free Individual Traveller (FIT) and Travel Agencies customer sector and strengthen our market position with established accounts. I had a marketing team of two subordinates. ▶︎ Managed, negotiated and optimized all the Leisure customer group contracts (more than 200 per year), provided revenue reports and acquired new accounts. ▶︎ Set the marketing direction and strategy for all the hotels together with the Managing Director and executed all marketing plans. ▶︎ FIT customer group brought at least 1/3 of all the revenue valued in millions of euros per year. Besides sales work for FIT & Travel agency customer group, I was responsible for selling the group’s 5 hotel’s and 14 restaurants’ facilities with a monthly target of 100 000 euro. I reached and many times exceeded this target every month.
