This is followed by a 30-minute skills acquisition period, with proper progressions, a 20-minute simulation of a team period will follow where athletes are put into situations where they apply newly learned skills as it pertains to what's asked of them by their respective team at game speed tempo. Simulation of game-like situations with reactive components to enhancing performance. Position-specific drills, and techniques to greater display the player's skillset, relative to the player's position and responsibilities that will be asked of him to perform at tryout/pro day/combine. NFL Combine Training Construct 8-12 week program focused on speed development & 40 yd dash and pro agility technique, strength programs designed to optimize force output leading to an improvement in 40 yd dash times and vertical jump. There is an extensive focus on body control and the development of relative strength which is desired when trying to apply strength gains to the desired task without losing fluidity.
- The Facility for Personal Training is Wellness Center that focuses on the 40+ population and does over 3 Million a year in annual revenue. The demands of the clientele range from strength gains, improved balance, weight loss, muscular toning, and sports performance. However, there were many cancer patients, as well as clients recovering from joint replacements, and soft tissue injuries. - Upon working as an Independent Contractor for 9 months, I was promoted to the role of Fitness Director & Business Development Manager. I was responsible for 20 other Personal Trainers, established and implemented new systems with our new client assessments. Constructed a new onboarding process for new trainers, as well as hold group workshops focusing on continuing education.
- JV Defensive Coordinator Called plays for the defense and designed a weekly game plan. Prepare and Motivate team for football activities. - Varsity Assistant (DB's) Assist in running individual drills design drills that simulate game situations such as play 2 vertical in a cover 3 as well as open-field tackling. Chart plays and grade players' performance. - 1 on 1 skills training (All Positions) Ex: DB's & LB's emphasis on ball skills, dissecting routes in off man, angle tackling utilizing bags to shed followed by hitting sleds. etc. RB's focus on reactive ability. Drills to work on catching the ball out of the backfield, as well as using head fakes and hands to effectively run routes. - Constructed the Developmental Strength & Conditioning program that was held 3x per week for 8 weeks. The program consisted of 20-35 athletes with an emphasis on developing the proper biomechanics, and following the proper progressions, to squat, jump, sprint, and change direction in an efficient manner that limits the mechanical load on joints, improving performance and decreasing the risk of injury. Workouts were broken down into four parts. - 15 Minutes of Dynamic movements, and running drills. - 15 Minutes of Calisthenics (Squats, push-ups, squat jumps, isometric holds) - 30 Minutes of Weight Lifting Full Body Workouts consisting of (one explosive exercise, three compound lifts, and four secondary exercises.) This followed by a core circuit, concluding with a team circle static stretch.
- Conducted Speed & Agility drills one time per week for six months. - Focus on developing the proper squat technique that will introduce the proper shin angle and landing position while jumping. - Created drills designed to react to ground balls with the proper mechanics to transition into throws. - Conducted drills that tested the athlete's ability to change direction while reacting to verbal stimulus. - Put all athletes through timed pro agility & 60 yd sprint on the first and last day and had an average increase of .2 seconds on the 60, and .6 on the pro agility amongst the members of the team.
