Animated by a passion for nomadic adventure, I decided to quite my previous work life and to travel along the Silk Road, from Konya to Kashgar through Isfahan, from Samarakand to Almaty through Dushanbe, I explored Peshawar and I went even as far as Turpan, finally reaching the starting point of a new journey: Xi'an. Contemplating the beauty of our world to better understand it. Meeting others, unexpectedly, and finding a way through. Reviving the memory of forgotten people. This is what naturally guided me to the art of photography and film-making: to better understand their histories, their diversities, their struggles, their strengths and their hopes, and to put under the spotlights the beauty of this very unknown part of the world. Portraits and landscapes: experiencing journeys and everyday life scenes in which time seems to stop. My photography work is an artifact of cultures that tend to vanish in our globalized world of the 21 century. Author of engaged documentaries. As, The first one 'The stateless Rohingyas' aimed to give an overview on Burma and to better understand the situation of its minorities. Then the second one, 'A journey with uyghur women' suggest to follow the path of engaged women. And Also, 'The Attabad workers' to highlight the situation of those workers in North of Pakistan. I had numerous opportunities to speak at various conferences about my experience and journey, also exhibitions where I shared photographies of my travels in Central Asia and particularly on the Great Silk Road.
