I opened a new operation in Ecuador for both ESP and HPS business, reversed the trend in Brazil up to get new contracts with Petrobras and Introduced the company in the Offshore ESP business with Perenco. I created formally the HPS product line for the region, installing a new facility outside of Bogotá area for local assembly, testing and repair the surface pumping units. I was able to put together a first class HPS team for business development, field service and manufacturing functions, established the local supply chain for sourcing the skids, motors, VSD's, instrumentation and automation of the HPS systems. That facility will be able to assembly the units and export from Colombia to the rest of the region. In addition, I was able to get business opportunities for Borets to be invited and quote for Pemex in Mexico and Panamerican in Argentina. Next step would be pursuing business for HPS in the oil / gas and mining business in Peru. Be able to put on board a select group of talented professionals with experience in inventory planning, sourcing, product quality, reliability engineering, and field service was one of my greatest contributions to the organisation.
