Monitor public policy issues of importance to Twitter and our users in France, including in the national legislative and executive branches, French government bodies and public institutions. Provide front-line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems and escalating to internal colleagues as needed. Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for engagement with policymakers, regulators, and lawmakers. Meet with key government, political, and media representatives to help them understand Twitter and advance policy beneficial to Twitter and our users. Represent Twitter at high tech industry gatherings and coalition meetings, speak publicly on policy panels at events and conventions.

The Center for Legal and Social Studies (CELS), Conectas Human Rights and Corporación Humanas, non-governmental organizations,- Argentina, Brazil and Chile, respectively,- have a joint permanent presence in Geneva, headquarters of the United Nations (UN) human rights system. To accompany the work of the United Nations human rights system, with particular focus on the Treaty Bodies and the Human Rights Council and its mechanisms and procedures, including UPR working groups, by attending the meetings, sharing notes and facilitating participation of other NGO representatives; To develop advocacy, lobbying and networking activities with delegations and NGOs based in Geneva; To liaise with UN staff and mechanisms, including possibly additional UN bodies such as WTO, on given topics;

Monitor UN human rights meetings and activities, especially the Human Rights Council, Treaty Body sessions and working groups. Attending training of International Law, International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law. Conducting research and analytic work on human rights violations and applicable international law. Drafting reports, letters, statements, and urgent appeals to UN human rights bodies. Assisting in the organizing, promoting and execution of conferences and meetings. Preparing summaries and press releases on meetings and on GICJ activities. Assisting with the maintenance of the GICJ website, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Helping in preparing and distributing GICJ newsletter and assisting with the media.

Following the United Nations Human Rights Council Hearings - 28th and 29th session - and interacting with other NGO's and diplomats. Assisting with building and maintaining a database of advocacy contacts and attending internal advocacy strategy meetings in order to develop a deep knowledge of International Human Rights tools.

The ICI also provide a Racist Incident Support and Referral Service, undertake work in the area of integration, conduct policy and campaign work and provide a training service. The Information and Referral Service deals with more than 10,000 enquiries about Ireland’s immigration system each year. Providing assistance and legal representation to individuals regarding their immigration status. This is a free, but limited, service for particularly complex situations or cases that give rise to specific policy concerns.
