Presently serving as the Group Legal Counsel of HAS Group which comprises of Hora.ai, Athena Education and Sitare Foundation. About the entities: (1) Athena Education is an education management company which helps students do better and be better through holistic education; (2) Hora.ai is a multi-million dollar tech startup which is India's first fintech serving exclusively women; and (3) Sitare Foundation is a registered NGO which is working towards providing most talented underprivileged children in society access to high-quality education and the Foundation aims to educate 50,000 talented underprivileged students by 2050. Responsibilities: 1. Drafted and reviewed shareholders agreements (SHAs), software development contracts, employment agreements, SaaS agreements, vendor agreements. 2. Conducted legal reviews of product initiatives and work in consultation with technology and product representatives to provide solution-oriented practical advice to facilitate product launches and initiatives in India. 3. Managed all aspects of litigation disputes, and advise pre-litigation disputes, regulatory investigations, and other contentious matters. 4. Advised executive management and cross-functional teams with regard to potential legal risks in India. 5. Ensured compliance with applicable laws across all aspects. 6. Worked closely with product, technology and business team members to provide counseling on litigation disputes. 7. Worked with external legal counsel on specific matters ranging from regulatory issues to expert advice requests and to take an active role in litigation disputes.
