PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN: 1. Control of Electronic Appliances using Cell Phone (Sep 2013) - Led team to build a circuit that used a cell phone to turn on and off electronic appliances connected to a switchboard by making use of the principle of Dual Tone Multiple Frequency (DTMF). - Won 1st prize at National level Tech-fest, N.I.University. 2. Mobile automated re programmable industrial robot (Jan 2013) - Successfully designed an industrial robot based on ATMEL. Integral part of a 4-member team. - Implemented the robot to perform operations such as welding, spray painting, drawing, circuit board etching, metal detection, and stacking. 3. Electromagnetic robot (Sep 2012) - Realized working model of an electromagnetic robot arm. It was manipulated using two potentiometers; when the switch is off, the program would control the two servos and the electromagnet of the arm. - Implemented the robot using Arduino GUI platform. 4. Load and rope pulling robot (Feb 2012) - Successfully constructed a mechanical robot to pull loads up to 30 kilos on plane and inclined surfaces. 5. Digital propeller Clock (Mar 2011) - The clock was designed such that, the motor spins the "propeller", and a small microprocessor keeps track of time and changes the pattern on seven LEDs with exact timing to simulate a 7 x 30 array of LEDs which works using the property of human eye, ‘persistence of vision’.
