In this role I was responsible for operationalizing newly built and renovated ambulatory facilities. This included being a part of the design to ensure maximum efficiencies and be the conduit between the operational team and the facilities team. I lead project meetings that involved multiple areas of the organization including facilities, human resources, IS, marketing, payer relations, compliance, clinical operations, revenue cycle, legal, credentialing, finance, supply chain, and operations. While in this roll I was part of the design, construction, and opening of 3 new buildings and 3 large renovation projects. During some of these projects I also served as the logistics coordinator and lead the re-location of the practices to their new location.
In this role I was responsible for supporting the Director of Operations to ensure tasks and projects were completed within the department. I was also heavily involved in process improvements within the office and also assisting providers on becoming more efficient with their workflows and documentation. I was the lead project manager on multiple integrations, facility projects, and other improvement events. I was responsible for on- boarding new providers to ensure their experience was seamless from signing to start date. During this time I worked with many areas of the organization. A few of those areas include payer relations, compliance, legal, facilities, human resources, marketing, and IS. The Surgical Specialties/Musculoskeletal Sciences Department included: 12 Divisions/Specialties 20 Locations 80 Physicians (with multiple providers on-boarding each month) Multiple Mid-Level Providers
In this role I was a Supervisor for a very large multi-specialty physician practice. These specialties had multiple locations and included Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Allergy/Immunology, and Diabetes/Endocrinology.
