The time has come for me, if I was still offered this opportunity, to move from operations to integration. Switching to Nokia TAS, as a solution architect , seems to me a good move as it is the network element that decides what and how to work in the case of enabling a wide set of subscriber services for VoLTE, Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi), and fixed-access networks. I find it fascinating how it is interposed in all decisions / flows with most of the important protocols used. If I can make a small parallel, it makes me thinking at the old MMSC of CS, all the M1-M9 interfaces. I will have to go through all the planning, design and integration steps, the hidden ones when I was receiving and reviewing the documentation for the transfer of a new operational NE. I hope that my previous experience in OPS, on most levels, will help me from now on... because I really know what a client wants. Understanding customer requirements and then implementing them in NTAS VNF, CoudBand infrastructure and ranking in Nodes, PODs and containers, governed if I may repeat by Kubernetes (Governors in Estonian) and then defining and adjusting each parameter in TAS (Telephony Application Server) will be a real challenge for start... Eventually, I will keep you updated on the evolution of the projects I will develop in the future.
