As a co-founder in Urgos I have personally lead the development and implementation of our entire digital/content and business development strategy. In 2017 I personally pitched,negotiated and secured our first angel investor. This initial seed investment enabled to begin development of our prototype for the Urgos kettle. I have also personally secured additional European Union/E.R.D.F. funding of up to through the SEND and KRISP projects via Keele University. As well as EU funding I have also secured additional for Urgos from Santander bank via Keele university who have funded additional interns for our start up. My contributions to Urgos have significantly reduced as well as making it investor ready and develop from the idea to prototype stage. With in the KRISP and Satander projects I have hired trained and managed my own team of paid interns. I have also played a leading role in the creation our high quality content media content. As the host and executive producer of our podcast which is now available on iTunes I have demonstrated my passion when it comes to creating content. As well as being copy writer for blog and webmaster for our blog I have successfully trained our interns to write excellent content. Our YouTube channel is also hosted by myself. In 2016 successfully secured in European Union E.R.D.F. match funding via the Staffordshire University Be-inspired business Startup programme. It was during this programme that I founded my fledgling digital firm Shirihotep Solutions and Ltd,and launched my geeky Media content brand Ubergeekout. During the start up programme I learned developed the following skills with Assistance of my business mentor Matthew Clayton of Build a UK business: Pay per click advertising on both Facebook and google adwords platforms Digital marketing Strategy and implementation Business management and strategy Brand management and Strategy I was also able to secure intellectual property for my firm under be-inspired by registering ubergeekout as a media content and fashion brand for the next ten years. In 2017 I also secured further E.U. funding /E.R.D.F. for Shirihotep Solutions LTD via the Keele University K.R.I.S.P. project. This funding enabled me to hire manage and my own team of paid graduates to help grow business. The Graduates assisted me with Video editing,business development and content creation. Ubergeekout media currently consists primarily of a Blog ubergeekout.net designed built and launched by myself. As well as a YouTube channel of which I am the host and executive producer . I have always had passion for geeky entertainment and ubergeekout allowed to combine my creative passion and technology skills to create my own media content brand.
