I work directly under the Chief Marketing Officer and coordinate day-to-day marketing and strategic planning for PetCure Oncology's national network of veterinary cancer care centers. The rapidly-growing new company is revolutionizing cancer care for pets through treatment, technology and conversation. We support collaboration, drive research and provide greater access to better outcomes for patients, pet owners and veterinarians. This includes the development and management of comprehensive cancer care centers across the country that specialize in an emerging new treatment called stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). This leading-edge technology is delivered with the intent to cure and has been proven successful in treating humans. SRS is an advanced form of radiation therapy that delivers high doses of radiation with sub-millimeter precision in a noninvasive, nonsurgical manner. The unprecedented precision is able to optimize damage to cancerous tissue while minimizing collateral damage to nearby healthy tissue. As a result, SRS requires only 1-3 treatment sessions – an 80-95% reduction compared to conventional radiation therapy – and significantly reduces both the severity and duration of side effects. PetCure Oncology has a scientific advisory board made up of respected human and veterinary radiosurgery experts. Together with veterinarians, they conduct outcomes research to continually refine care protocols that deliver the best possible results for pet patients - and peace of mind for their owners. PetCure Oncology is the first provider to establish standards equivalent to those required in the delivery of human radiation therapy, ensuring exceptionally high-quality care at our centers.
