Bhavani is the past Vice President of the UAE Chapter and was instrumental in the success of promoting the ISACA activities in Abu Dhabi. Bhavani initiated talks and discussions with several executives in the major companies such as NBAD, Adnoc, Zayed University and sought sponsorships for promoting ISACA related conferences, CISA classes. In fact the dedicated sessions of CISA were held after she had got the sponsorship from Zayed University to provide the sessions for hte members to prepare them for hte CISA and ISACA relaed certification exams. Bhavani had also facilitated many conferences, seminars in Abu Dhabi on behalf of ISACA UAE.

Senior Assessor for the SKEA (Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award) based on EFQM Model. Had assessed many organisations here in Abu Dhabi and had contributed to the community for the improvement of the organisations.

Conducted ISO audits for the Business Units, including Logistics, Aviation, and HR in Adnoc Distribution as per the ISO 9001:2000. Organised security audits and assisted in ISO certification process. Acted as a Senior Assessor of SKEA (Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award) and conducted three cycles of assessment based on EFQM model. Held responsibility of managing Information Security management (ISMS) encompassing risk management, assets management, security products implementation, security operations, data center management, designing, and implemented information Security policies/practices in Adnoc Distribution. Liaised with HR to incorporate HR related security policies and procedures. Managed numerous operations 250 locations in UAE encompassing servers, VMware, AD, Exchange, EDMS, POS systems, Smart Card Centers, Oracle ERPs, In-house Developed Apps, Data centers, DR, and BCP. Executed ITIL Framework across operations to align processes and referred COBIT. Key Achievements:  Implemented COBIT for Information Systems security to bring maturity level to three according to COBIT standard.  Reduced operational cost by 5% by virtualisation.  Reduced the usage of paper by 45% using content management system.  Increased the operational efficiency of IT operations and achieved 95% of customer satisfaction (automation).  Enhanced the service level management framework and enabled the SLA approach between departments.

Primarily managing the training center and delivered projects/trainings as per the business needs. Achieved the expansion of the training from one room facility to 5 rooms facilities. Achieved the set up of the First Vue Testing center first time in the middle east. Finalised and established the complete network of more than 100+ pcs and enabled the technical infrastructure to suit to more than 100+ trainings.

Worked as the application developer and manager. Developed applications as per client requirements and delivered projects related to video shops and CDs management., pharmacies management, doctors and clinic management.
