The Philanthropic arm of CSRBOX

We are impact architects with over 10 years of work in enabling India’s impact ecosystem through practice, platforms and programs. We design and deliver impact programs for businesses, philanthropy and government and leverage systemic strengths to achieve scale and efficiency. We manage CSR facilitation cells of state and central agencies, manage CSR PMU doe companies, handle M&E and impact assessment of projects under Impact Practice by CSRBOX. With BharatCares, we deliver impacts on ground in partnerships with government agencies. We operate BCC labs on rod safety in over 100 RTOs in India, we deliver PHC upgradation in over 10% of Karnataka’s PHCs. We have 55000 sq km area under river basin sustainability program in Maharashtra. We have done solarisation of over 200 villages in lat 2 years ans counting more. We bring in transparency, accountability, collaboration and planned exit in CSR and philanthropic programs. We are the host of Asia’s largest CSR and sustainability summit ‘India CSR and ESG Summit’. We operate NGOBOX and CSRBOX platforms for the impact ecosystem. We anchor Collective Action platform for Godavari river basin, known as ‘The Godavari Initiative’ .

Leading Team Partners in Change to strengthen its market presence and help companies to move towards sustainable business practices through strategic CSR and supply chain management. We help companies to identify CSR partners, undertake their due-diligence and capacity building for successful CSR partnerships. We help NGOs to understand CSR partnership process and actualise CSR partnerships.

In charge of programmatic implementation while working closely with project teams, partners and stakeholders. Work closely with partner agencies, companies to develop CSR Strategy, Implementation plan, Perspective Plan and providing advisory services to engage with CSOs to implement CSR activities. Provide training on Business-NGO partnership and build capacities of NGOs for strategic tie up with businesses.

Engaging with timber, paper & pulp companies in India to transform Indian market towards responsible forestry and catalyze forest certification. To help businesses in sustainable forest management and better practices that lead to sustainable business & environment in the whole supply chain that ultimately contributes to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. -Corporate engagement for responsible business practices and sustainable production & consumption -Environmental due diligence and monitoring -Lead Coordinator for REDD+ initiatives and negotiations in WWF-India and coordination with partner agencies/State FDs •Overall responsibility of technical aspects of REDD+ Project by WWF-India (Project planning, design & methodology work, carbon stock assessment,VCS- CCBS-REDD-SES design, BSM etc) along with other forestry carbon initiatives of WWF-India •Handling forestry carbon projects; PDD Work, Payment for Ecosystem Services, Bioenergy, GFTN, Forest Certification •IFS officers training on Forestry Carbon, Sustainability and Ecological Footprint Accounting •Ecosystem Restoration, Low Carbon Strategies and Renewable Energy Project,Environmental and Social Governance, handling portfolio for GFTN,and EC-SWITCH Asia programme for Sustainable and Responsible Trade Promotion among Wood Processing SMEs through Forest and Trade Networks in China, India and Vietnam.

Currently I am handling various programmes under Forestry and Biodiversity wing of WWF-India. My domain covers Forest certification, Forestry carbon, REDD+, PES and allied activities.
