Recent projects include: - Contracted by Visit NC to develop state-level programs for responsible recreation, destination stewardship, and sustainable tourism. - Contracted by Colorado Tourism Office and Travel Oregon to provide destination development technical assistance to 11 communities throughout the state(s). - Providing Sr. Consultant services on strategic Destination Management Plans in AK, UT, and WY. - Developed full toolkit for Mountain IDEAL Program and act as Sr. Destination Advisor. - Provided strategic planning to enhance International Mountain Biking Association's (IMBA) community engagement services and revamp the Ride Center Designation program. - Advised city, county, and federal officials of Vail, CO, Breckenridge, CO, Jackson, WY, and Brevard, NC on the planning and development of sustainable destination policies and programs that are in line with international best practices. - Developed Destination Assurance Policy Framework Strategy for Jamaica's Ministry of Tourism that aims to enhance the visitor experience through quality management of enterprises and destinations with a specific focus on resilience, health, safety, security, sustainability, and seamlessness. - Completed Visitor Capacity Studies in Aruba and Seychelles to determine how the tourism industry could balance the quality of life for residents and quality of place for visitors. - Developed an immersive and experiential study tour to Oregon and hosted a group of 17 tourism professionals throughout the 5-day trip. - Developed an assessment & monitoring system to improve ecotourism impacts within Protected Areas of the Mediterranean.
