Full P&L responsibility of the region. Full business development incl. infrastructure, marketing, education and of course sales. New markets, new challenges, new opportunities....market close to 400 mil. people. Approx. 26 countries including all French speaking Africa and English speaking (Nigeria and Ghana). Primary target – Covidien products and company image establishment, distributor network development and analysis, average growth per year 30% in sales, new team development, new education directions, in short, full market development project. Sales of full Covidien portfolio, Surgical, Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions Medical Supplies, Vascular Therapy, Early Technologies and Energy Based Devices. Double digit growth (34%) realized in the first year, but I was more focusing on bottom line due to quite high costs of doing business at that period, when taking over.
Being part of excellent team, full P&L responsibility, covering 15 countries (incl. Croatia and Serbia) in the region Baltics, Central, Eastern and Southern European Region, responsible for full Covidien portfolio. Established fully new organizational structure, excellent and efficient distributor network, simplified business and logistics processes and highly motivated team to manage (24 members). Specifically worked on SD and MM module during the company’s roll-out in Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Russia. Responsible for the integration aspects between SD and other modules during the implementation with focuses in developing and solving problems in a standard business. Post-implementation training for SD users in Great Britain during 4 months period and minor training in Materials Management module for MM users. Involved in implementation of all characteristic processes within company such as Consignments, Third party orders, Purchasing, Stock transfers and Inter-company transfers. Transportation cost allocation implementation including pricing, shipment documentation, interfaces with Finance, Controlling Profitability Analysis, construction of master data and user trainings for large American consumer products company in Russia.
