Sort through our 3rd party vendor backorders, and determining why the order still is in a backorder status. Using phone, email, and fax we communicate with our vendors, sales reps, buyers, and customers to determine why an order is not received, then quickly providing a solution to the issue. Coordination with internal partners is crucial to the success of the position. Communicating accurate and dependable information between sales reps and buyers is critical to providing the best sales and service to our clients. Orders that are entered incorrectly or submitted without recognition are resolved through analysis and problem skills. The need to multitask using several different computer databases, corresponding specific company and vendor order information, while simultaneously using the telephone, computer, and fax machine is a necessity to quickly and proactively provide our customers with the items/services they have requested in a timely fashion. Information/data is placed into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to document backorder issues, while providing an overview of how mistakes can be avoided in the future to better serve our customers. The ability to read, understand, and convey information from invoices to sales reps, buyers, vendors, and customers is used to expeditiously solve backorder/invoicing issues so items/services, and payment is delivered on time. Prepare and resend purchase orders not received by our vendors to ensure our end users receive the products and services they expect to receive from us. Set to exceed expectations everyday while providing superior customer service to our clients.
