Brent Bottamini

Early stage basketball-centric apparel start up that will produce superior quality clothing with a steadfast ambition to CELEBRATE sport's unique ability to engender social cohesion, harmony, and unity. Collective aims to create a lifestyle brand that encourages people to "Recognize Yourself In Others". In 2014, my co-founding partner, Larry Jackson, signed with the New England Revolution and moved to Metro Boston. Owing to paltry pay in the MLS, he solicited assistance in finding affordable housing. To make an entertaining story brief, Larry instead moved in with my in Marlborough, MA and lived with us for a year: our lives were changed immeasurably for the better. Since then, despite returning to the Bay Area, Larry has been part of the Bottamini family. We passionately believe that sports possess a rare ability (perhaps rivaled only by music) to bring people together - it is difficult to identify venues that more powerfully unite us than the courts and fields where we play for competition, or pleasure. Troubled by the current tenor of our country, we believe there is an opportunity to embrace the power sports (basketball specifically) to remind people there is more that unites us than divides us.
