The management and implementation of improvement strategies of the UK and European Quality Assurance, laboratory and engineering teams based in Leeds (UK) and Brno (Czech Rep) serving both UK and continental European customers, branches and suppliers,all reported to senior corporate stakeholders. Management of Fastenal’s A2LA 17025 accredited Laboratories based in Leeds and continental Europe Laboratory based in Brno, Czech Rep. The quality management and performance measuring of the Fastenal Distribution HUBs in Dordrecht, Netherlands and Liverpool, England. Quality Assurance support of all Fastenal outlets, branches and stores across UK and Europe. Management of teams that inspect and control fasteners and products supplied by Fastenal and selected suppliers for the UK and European customers are fit for purpose, consistent and meets both external and internal requirements and standards within the wider industry. Act as an ISO 9001 lead auditor, carrying out internal audits of all branches across UK and all Europe, including manufacturing facilities and suppliers to ensure industry compliance. Act as an ISO 17025 lead auditor, carrying out internal audits of all Fastenal accreditation laboratory’s. Lead management of supplier approval and maintaining of the standards expected through Quality Supplier Compliance. Head the management of all non conforming and non compliance issues raised internally or externally using 8D and Lean Six Sigma processes. Contribute and attend all sales tender meetings with prospective large customer accounts ensuring that Quality customer focus and engineering practices are promoted through the various sales opportunities with potential customers. Represent Nationally and Globally British Standards Institute (BSI) committee and ISO committee to assist in implementing and maintaining British Fastener standards throughout the industry.
