Responsible for the strategic direction and tactical delegation of GFS's Supply Chain strategy. As a corporation, GFS purchases nearly $22M of product per year and this role provides the oversight of longer-term purchasing decisions for large programs, and a more coherent commodity product strategy.

Partner with senior business leaders in the preparation and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Operational Reviews encompassing a $30 million annual freight spend for over 17,000 unique shipments • Perform service level audits, investigate cost savings opportunities, implement continuous improvement projects, and review logistical target KPI’s for various transportation modes including Bulk, Rail, Intermodal, FTL, and LTL • Assign least cost carriers for all shipping lanes while balancing service vs cost • Saved over $100,000 in freight spend in 2020 by implementing intermodal program • Track and identify root cause for non-optimal shipments to reduce average annual freight overspend of $1.7 million Identify strategic sourcing solutions including, but not limited to, freight, equipment, personnel, and fixed costs • Create contingency plans for regional disruptions such as hurricanes and winter storms • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customer service and sales, to ensure alignment on status of deliveries to customers and provide innovative, real-time solutions when service failures occur Responsible for preparation of supply chain fixed budget of $40 million by analyzing over 80 unique supply chain cost centers • Lead role in creating detailed supply chain budget for the entire supply chain network • Collaborate with Network Managers to identify areas of over/under spend • Track performance versus budget throughout the year, provide monthly forecast updates, and submit monthly accruals Supervise CLX Logistics Coordinators in support of Evonik account • Train coordinators on customer specific processes and procedures and BluJay TMS • Create SOP’s to ensure coordinators work optimally and are setup for success • Ensure timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders while maintaining target KPI’s

Oversee all functions relating to inbound logistics from initial booking to delivery • Solely responsible for coordinating the inbound transportation of all company inventory consisting of over 4,000,000 units annually from over 40 overseas and domestic vendors • Identify and work with freight forwarders and domestic truckers to deliver freight timely • Maintain Inbound Tracking Report for live updates of all inbound freight for full company visibility • Update unit freight costs for all product types to ensure accurate budgeting Manage the Receiving Department and Stocking Department • Responsible for managing three supervisors and up to 20 associates daily • Establish carton optimization for over 1,000 SKUs to minimize outbound shipping costs Act as the main point of contact for all correspondence with U.S. Customs • Review all shipping documentation submitted by vendors is correct for U.S. Customs clearance • Ensure the company remains a validated Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) member Monitor and record vendor compliance which led to an average of $50,000/year in recouped costs
