Brian Hollnagel

As founder, CEO and President of a privately held and operated commercial aircraft leasing company, I am proud to lead a team of highly experienced aviation, financial, legal and technical professionals in serving the needs of operators all over the world. From the Company's first transaction in the early years, to more than $1.5BN closed and counting, I've had the good fortune to lead this skilled team through many ups and down, whether through the industry upheaval of 9/11, the economic crises in 2008 and many other significant challenges. In 2007, I successfully led the company through the sale of roughly half of our portfolio - in excess of $600,000,000 in commercial aircraft assets - at the peak of the market. This allowed us to move forward as a completely self-funded entity, repaying all of our investors and most all of our lenders. These and other recent efforts allow us today to remain focused on adding to our substantial capital base and making both opportunistic and long term strategic investments. My business philosophy is that our financial strength and wherewithal allows us to be more selective, and only complete higher quality transactions for the benefit of our counter-parties, so we can close quickly and with very little risk. Over the long term, this results in a better negotiating posture, which lowers acquisition costs and often leads to higher profits, resulting in an enhanced capital base to work from. In the end, it’s a business building cycle that perpetuates itself.
