Brian Hutchins

I write grant proposals and reports as part of the philanthropy team. Previously served as Court Report Editor for the organization. In this specially created position, I reviewed reports submitted to juvenile courts by CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to enhance their clarity, readability, thoroughness, and efficacy and also devised and implemented strategies and procedures to improve final reports and make process more efficient. I also provided writing and editing training to staff and volunteers. The organization itself provides advocacy for individual foster children in San Diego County. Other responsibilities include creating and distributing newsletter for volunteers (via Constant Contact).
