This is a very fast paced unionized environment, where I am supporting 11 managers and over 300 staff. Responsible for full cycle recruitment, volunteers and student placements. Filled over 150 positions per year for 2017-2021 using behavioural based interviewing and core competencies based on the DSHR strategy. Completed WSIB Form 7, and followed up with staff and case manager as needed. Our employer program includes a very detailed return to work program to assist employees in returning back to their regular duties. Working within the Collective Agreement to ensure fair practices and eliminating opportunities for grievances Accomplishments: *Lead full-cycle recruitment: including the creation of job postings, sourcing candidates, interviews and reference checks for both internal and external hires. Manage 150 internal postings each year. *Direct WSIB claims for all employees, communicate with WSIB case managers; and lead the return to work process ensuring employees transition safely into their pre-injury jobs *Support 10 program managers and their three (3) Directors (Residential and Day Services) *Coach and advise managers on collective agreement application and performance management strategies *Create and maintain all employee personal and training files (300 staff); Achieve HR Ministry compliance requirements for 2016-2021 *Participate in internal investigations ensuring fair outcomes to all parties
