Currently buying the RED brand for Mr Price Apparel.
Started out my Junior position as the buyer for Ladieswear Denim. During my time in denim, I focused on correcting the denim fit and size curve to be more suitable for the South African customer.
I worked as a trainee buyer in Girlswear for 1 year and then moved across to ladies wear for 7 months.
I was selected to be apart of the first Work Experience Programme hosted by the Mr Price Group. This programme exposed me to the greater environment of the retail industry. The month composed of store visits, experiencing the factory and understanding all the hands that contribute to a single garment.
I worked alongside a group of extremely talented individuals to strategize and assort the Winter range for 2018. This was a month filled with learning the importance of supplier relations, team work and finessing the finer details within an assortment.
