Brooke Butler Shiller

A 10 year veteran with Lockheed Martin, Brooke led Export Licensing and Compliance for the Joint Strike Fighter F-35 Program at Lockheed Martin. She held increasingly responsible roles in export compliance, internal audit and consulting prior to the F-35 position. She started her career at Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical, handling export compliance matters and helping to stand up compliance programs under an administrative agreement. She is passionate about audit and compliance controls having personally worked for two corporations that had to recover from multi-million dollar consent agreements for export related violations. In 2005, recognizing the increasing need for compliance know-how across the world of complex international program execution, she founded an export compliance consulting firm, Globaleyes. The firm supports clients with compliance matters, training, license planning and management, design and implementation of procedural compliance controls, as well as audits and assessments. Brooke serves on the Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG), the North Texas District Export Council (DEC) and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia, Center for International Trade and Security.
