While my role started out mainly administrative, over the years I grew the position to incorporate my design skills. I reworked many of their print materials and made their branding more cohesive, updated and appealing. I created event flyers, and weekly visual content for upcoming events and announcements. I managed the incoming and outgoing communications, the calendars, and the church’s email client and database.
In the Communications Office, I: • Designed promotional materials for events. • Balanced multiple deadlines. • Worked with the Friends University branding style. • Helped update the website.
As an intern, I worked with clients everyday through branding and marketing their company. • Have been able to see the entire design process from start (concepts) to finish (printing). • Have worked on preparing press releases and sending them to the desired publishers. • Have working on various projects ranging from billboards, posters, and mailers to web-related services.
