The Director of Specialty Operations oversees all facets of the department directly related to the support of five key specialties related to practice growth: Orthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, Pedodontics, and Oral Surgery. Reports Directly to the Chief Operations Officer. Responsibilities include: •Leads Team of Specialty Managers who support specialist doctors and traveling (multi site) team (150+ employees) •Analyzes practice volume compared to practices of similar size to determine depth and breadth of specialty coverage needed to support volume •Coaches and motivates providers to reach their personal and organizational targets •Works with Practice Directors, Regional Managers and Practice Managers to improve referrals to specialty •Prepares Budgets in partnership with CFO and finance team for YOY revenue growth •Reviews new affiliations and Denovos to execute on roadmap for addition of new specialties •Reviews practice schedules with Specialties Manager and Practice Manager and builds strategies for chair/operatory optimization •Serves as operations spokesperson for development of company wide intranet •Partners with Recruitment to select best candidates (doctors/managers) for opportunities and ensure an exceptional candidate experience •Company wide P&L accountability with SLT with focus on meeting monthly and annual EBITDA target
