Work closely with Owner/CEO in making significant business decisions, such as actions related to staffing, merit increases, managing budget, marketing strategy, and new product development. Perform candidate interviews for all positions in the company. Establish marketing language for a clear corporate identity and write all copy content for company website. Create custom internal apps, such as Status, to pull data from a project time tracking system and from a Contact Resource Manager (CRM) to generate status reports for monthly profit, identifying over-budgeting issues, and sales projections. Responsible for project contract cost estimate approvals. Create standard template line items to add to proposals for use by sales personnel when defining project scope. Establish and refine website redesign processes. Created set of scripts to automatically generate tasks for each project phase to integrate with task management app. Assist sales personnel with functional requirements derived from ongoing conversations with clients. Assist in project handoffs to developers with project tasks and time estimates.

Trained, mentored, and managed the development team of 3-4 people. Maintained client relations and lead meeting interactions. Built object-oriented WordPress framework to be used company-wide for configuring admin interfaces that are customized to clients' needs. Created WordPress starter theme using page speed, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and accessibility best practices to serve as foundation for all clients' websites.

Contracted as sole developer for marketing and communications branch of CDK Global (formerly Cobalt). Responsibilities included building and maintaining marketing websites on their network and building specialized apps for expo events. Interfaced directly with clients through website design and development process.

Designed, built, and launched several websites for small businesses. Attended client meetings, gathered project requirements, and proposed creative solutions.
