Interfaces with program managers to ensure strong team relations with government and prime contractor customers. Provides overall leadership and vision for a growing government contractor, specializing in DoD staff augmentation support contracts. Reviews and analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations. Monitors company performance for conformance to contract requirements, and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that any problems are identified and resolved/mitigated in a timely manner. Provides QA on deliverables and coordinates deliverables. Prepares funding burn charts and tracks historical burn-rate information. Provides program control support for multiple contracts of various types (T&M, CPFF, and FFP). Prepares spreadsheets which plan, track, and analyze projects of varying size and complexity. Prepares invoices for government and commercial customers via electronic spreadsheets and accounting software. Performs QA on monthly reporting prior to dissemination to customers. Works directly with customers to coordinate allocation of funding, to and open/close charge numbers, ODC transfers, invoice review, and pricing support. Oversees the establishment and maintenance of accounting system and internal controls. Prepares proposal and quotes in accordance with prime and government requests. Coordinates the writing, discussion, and implementation of company policies. . Manages DCAA cost accounting documentation and report preparation. Serves as cognizant auditor liaison, and ensures timely responses to external audit requests. Establishes and oversees company-level indirect rate development and budget execution. Oversees tax compliance, . Ensures timely response to tax and government requests for information. Oversees vendor selection to ensure steward use of company resources and efforts, and ensures conformance with company budgets and objectives.
