As part of the Innovation Department, the role requires me to design and develop new product solutions with a commercial and business focused approach. Substantial involvement in areas such as; costing, management, patenting, testing and business practice play a key part in insuring that those products or processes created exceed the current commercial standards, to keep in line with AESSEAL's excellence within the mechanical seal industry.
• Lead designer in the conceptualisation and successful realisation of 10 bespoke products, all of which are currently in use across the UK. An enhanced understanding of usability and user-centred approaches were developed and effectively implemented. • Managed and designed DEMAND's 2011 globally published magazine, distributed to over 6000 customers, clients, trusts and foundations. This process particularly enhancing interpersonal skills through people management, decision-making and an appreciation of lead times and contingency planning. • Sponsorship was awarded following recognition of increased work standards and abilities over the course of the year.
