- Maintain updated purchasing records/data and accurate cost-pricing in the internal inventory management system; SX.enterprise - Handle and monitor claims submitted to manufacturer factories/vendors for defective items, quality issues, scheduling changes, shortages, etc. - Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and associated documents in accordance with corporate policies/procedures and government regulations - Source, select and negotiate for the best "purchase package" in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and service with new and existing suppliers - Plan for and manage adequate inventory levels and associated carrying costs of product category items across all North American warehouses and holding facilities - Assist in document preparation and negotiation of products and pricing for all assigned RFQ/RFP's - Problem solve issues throughout the supply chain; facilitate communication for vendors, warehousing, and Sales/Product Development - Communicate with internal business units (Customer Service, Sales, Management, Product Development, etc.) regarding stock fluctuations, quality issues, cost increases affecting Customers, etc. - Utilize extensive knowledge of SX.enterprise internal system for product category management
