Carlos Valcarcel

I am the Sr. Data Scientist in Khan Academy's analytics team accountable for supporting our Marketing and Philanthropy teams. My work includes performing experiments and other causal analyses to provide insights on interventions that promote reach, engagement, and donations (these seek to understand the value our non-profit provides). I create dashboards which my stakeholders use to regularly visualize historical use-data, forecasts for the next school-year, and extract other insights. I enjoy that my experience in educational research has been helpful in tying analytic insights to market opportunities.
