Here I enjoy a challenging and varied role in which I plan, implement and deliver small, medium to large scale events within the niche automotive sector. Reporting to the Director, I effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, this encompasses overseeing activities working within budgets and leading negotiations with venue management companies and exhibition organisers regarding costs and exclusivity agreements. Within this capacity, I successfully organise executive meetings as well as events and symposiums for up to 500 delegates, this encompasses venues, catering, speakers, and resources including hostesses along with the logistics and delivery of vehicles. For this, I liaise and coordinate with key venues including Williams Formula 1 Conference centre, builds and maintains robust relationships. I also effectively planning and organising track days and team events as well as supervising and coordinating the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors. My position required extensive liaison with the businesses within Niche Vehicle Network including Caterham Cars, Ginetta Cars, BAC, Ariel Motor Company, Westfield Sportscars and Silverstone Park. During this time, I developed and implemented the NVN Skills initiative which included the planning and management of key events at Silverstone, to build engagement with graduates regarding apprentice and internship opportunities within niche automotive companies, this encompassed working with engineering-specific schools/universities within the UK, I also work closely with show organisers, stand designers and contractors to deliver and implement successful events whilst ensuring compliance with insurance and health and safety obligations at all times. Another key element of my role is to organise and schedule events, maintaining a calendar of events for effective long-term planning and management.
