Pre-opening of the very first Curio property in the Middle East!
Covered the position of HR Department Head for 7 months, taking full responsibility for departmental leadership.
After a successful year in Operations, I was promoted to the Human Resources department, where I took on the responsibility of Training. One of my proudest accomplishments was achieving a perfect score of 100% in Quality Assurance audits for Brand Standards! Additionally, I went to London to become certified with Hilton's Train the Trainer program and traveled to Prague for cross-training, further enhancing my skills and expertise in training and development. I had the privilege of contributing as the hotel-based trainer for the Leonardo Da Vinci Apprenticeship Programme, an EU initiative led by Hilton Worldwide to promote lifelong learning and enhance career opportunities in the Turkish hospitality industry. This unique program partnered Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center with Özyeğin University to provide 16 students with hands-on apprenticeship experience over 60 working days. As part of the pilot project, I traveled to Amsterdam to attend a masterclass, which I later delivered to the interns to further enhance their professional development. In addition, I supported the students throughout their training, helping them gain valuable industry insights and boosting their employment prospects within the Turkish hospitality sector.
